Default Car stuck in Canada, A

    Any input,
My boss took a flight out of Canada (4hr ride past border, idk) parked his car in a long term parking lot 7 months ago and since returned but due to the border being closed he is loosing hope he will ever get the Honda FIT back. Anyone know if the parking rules etc can force him to pay the 2,700+ parking fee Even tho the border is closed?
Anyone know a transporter who can get it and bring to the border?
    Thoughts or ideas?

At this point, might as well report the car as stolen and go buy a new one.

    oh man thats not good.

unfortunately reporting it stolen would end up coming back to him after he gives his sworn statement and when its actually found.

i would be looking into trying to get th thing shipped across the border as thats pretty much the only thing able to go across right now

Technically Canada stole it. They won't allow him access to his property, therefore stolen.

Reporting it stolen is not an option, he canceled the insurance on the 5th month knowing it may be there a year+.
He attempted to cross with a dolly, blood test and all possible needed paperwork BUT after an hour and a half of them looking into him they said because his household has 2 other registered vehicles THAT car is not essential, lol
At the moment I am unsure of what airport but he did say it’s 4hrs to arrive once crossing.
Getting a transporter is an option, and they do not have to cross either because he can actually receive it at the duty free and then home free....
