    Default Honda civic block

Anyone have a suggestion where to get a 99 D16Y8 block bored out and checked over? It's aluminum with iron sleeves. Thanks.

I would normally recommend Dave at Enginecraft, but I doubt he would have torque plates for that block.

Thanks Geoff. We can try. D&S doesn't. My son is building a turbo civic.

Thanks for the follow up and interest, guys. Ben had his block done a Baldwin Machine in Pontiac. Still a long way to go on the car but should have it out this summer. It is not his first car. He had a 12 second SRT4 but this Civic is a more extensive build. Will probably not be faster than the SRT but he is actually putting this engine together. Before this the only engines he's built were mini-bikes, small scooters, etc. He is a gear head. The civic is torn apart and the shell is on my hoist. I'll snap a pic but haven't put a picture on here in years.
