    Default Drag Week Tour Bus

    Who would be Interested ?

I work for Michigans largest Charter bus company and can get a coach discounted and would pass my discount to the club
    thoughts would be ...
pick up at the park and ride at 11 mle and Lahser say 8 am
approx. 2.5 hour ride puts us at the track around 11 am
I'll be working on a price ...the more that sign up the ... lower cost per person

I think friday would be the most exciting day ... with all that are left trying to make the last pass
stay through the awards ceremony and head back

The dates for drag week this year are Sept 12-17. Sept 12 (Sun) is check in/tech at 131 and Sept 13 (Mon) at 131 is the first day of racing. IMO Friday would be the best day. There is no actual “racing” the first four days in that you are trying to get a good ET for your class. Many racers get a good number the first time out and then pack up and leave for the next location.

They get on the track as early as possible, usually 8-9 a.m. By mid afternoon many of the racers have left. On Friday there is no where left to go so they may stick around a little longer. A couple of the classes also have actual races for a class winner. Also they have the award presentations and whatever other shenanigans that may occur.

It’s a good time. It is amazing the number ridiculously/insanely fast cars that are driven 150+ miles a day.

I won’t be using the bus as I will already be out there “race bumming” those weekends. Sounds like a good way to go though.

I Drag Race Because It's Fun, Not Because I'm Good At It.
