thinking of giving it a go, with my 13 mile commute to work, found it for 2.49 today. 87 octane normal gas was 3.19
I know lots like the performance, don’t care about that part

It works out to be about the same cost Dave because of the lower fuel economy with the E85. But give it a try and see what you think.
My truck doesn't have enough injector in it to run it well, but it's not "E85" capable due to the tiny injectors, but I just throw a tune on it. Fuel economy was abysmal. Like 35% off.
My parents use it on and off. Takes about 3/4 of a tank to run well and they average 20-25% reduction in fuel economy as well.
I use it in my flex fuel silverado. The knock sensors go silent and the timing returns to full vs 87 octane. This closes the gap up with the mpg debate.I would say its a wash dollar wise.
So remember it takes 30% more fuel to generate the same HP. So as Dave mentioned, it might not be as cheap as it sounds. If you're flex fuel capable it may be worth trying to see. If not, you need to add a flex fuel sensor and update your tune for it if you're pcm is capable. Motion Raceworks makes a nice mount/Chassis to insert a GM flex fuel sensor. the mount is -10 but you can put the right size ORB/AN fittings in to splice it into your fuels system... according to a friend.
