Early Christmas for a 5 year old sent home with hospice care
This is my wife's friends daughter. I normally don't ask anybody for anything, but I'm asking you all for this. How many people can I get to cruise by?
MERRY CHRISTMAS !!
Beautiful and strong Maleah is 5 years old and is home under hospice care. She has battled cancer for 3 years,..Nearly her whole life. The family is devastated with this news,.. but time is precious so Golden Key Charity is planning a AWESOME CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION! And we are asking for your support.
On Saturday Sept 4th Santa will be delivering her presents, donated from the community family , friends,, and hopefully you might consider helping in any way you can. Santa and the carolers will all.park at the booker dozier reccenter on middlebelt to.load the bus please arrive by 1245 to board the bus we will roll at 1255 to drive to there home.. we will start signing carols as we exit the bus with santa and fill.up.the yard as we exit the bus. we will arrive at their home at 1pm with a sack of presents, and a hopefully a yard full of Christmas Carolers!
From 1-130 Maleah will hear Christmas songs and be showered with love smiles and support,.. and then,, at 130 pm we will board the bus to go back to.our cars, so you can get in the car line to join in the parade to begins our car, truck, motorcycle, etc. drive by parade!
if you are not caroling and want to.be in the parade Show up with your vehicle and get in line at the Book Dozier rec center at Middlebelt rd. in Inkster at 125the engines will.start and we will have a police escort to the home!
We will roll at 1:25 to start the car parade! Dress up your car , make signs etc! make some noise when you roll past their home! you will know their home it will be full of Christmas tree!
We invite you to participate in the parade, or by getting gifts for our Santa to give, or be a caroler or all that!
We also are accepting gift cards for mom and dad of gas visa or Walmart gift cards for their needs for the family. Financially its been challenging so if you can help in any way we will have a basket for easy donating as you drive past the home.
No child should go through this but the reality childhood cancer happens.. and we need to help. I am humbly asking for you to help. During the drive by parade we will also have a person at the road for you to put your donations or monetary support. Thank you so much
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THEIR HOME OTHER THAN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CAROLING AT AND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CAR PARADE (park at the rec center on middlebelt ready to roll at 1:25 pm) PLEASE RESPECT THE FAMILIES PRIVACY.
