    Default 2021 Bronco hardtop delay

    If you know.

My understanding is that ford made but is not selling 2021 bronco's with a hardtop due to a flaw with the hardtop.
Also there are thousands and thousands of broncos parked in lots just sitting.
Also these broncos have VIN'S and have to be titled as 2021.

What is ford going to do? Replace the tops and sell these in 2022 as 2021? Sell them with huge discount because it is a 2021 as 2022 are now out?

I would be very interested to find out. If these is a deep price reduction because it is a year old, i would pick one up.

    Anyone know?

I don't know details yet but depending on what they end up priced at I might get a Black Diamond Sasquatch in cyber orange to try to match my grandpas 66 Bronco.

Can the 2022's be out now if they have 2021's sitting with no tops?
What's the difference between the 2021 top and the 2022 top?

I honestly have no idea because I think it is silly they keep doing re-makes of all these vehicles from the past.
I thought history is bad and we're supposed to remove it all now and never remember...

The hardtop was made by WEBASTO (something like that) the material color fades badly when exposed to rain / humidity

All these broncos have vin as 2021. Cannot be changed to 2022.
    Fors should sell at discount

That was what I heard too. It wasn't a fitment issue, but a finish issue. Doesn't seem terrible depending on how much of a discount you'd get on a "defective" top. Just send it to a quality body shop and have to painted to your liking.

The soft top is actually quieter at highway speeds than the hard top.

i dont see any discount at any point. too many people are paying $10-$15 even $20kover sticker. Ford will replace all the hardtops on every Bronco (sold or waiting to ship). the only 2022 models being built are all soft top until the hardtops get made properly from my understanding. from my understanding.

The hardtop swells under high humidity conditions because the internals are made of resin and cardboard, unfortunately they will need to re-engineer the entire roof
I have a bad case of Automotive A.D.D.
