This car right now makes 7psi with the full quiet exhaust system. Roughly 400hp. Twist the knob, open up the exhaust, and it makes 500hp at 10psi, 600hp at 15psi.

The Bad. Convertible Top has a few rub holes but functions great. Paint has a few scratches, urethane body parts have some cracks. It's a good base body for a complete vinyl wrap that the new owner can complete.

I didn't think I'd ever see the day! I remember following the build on this back in the day. How's it looking now that it's finished up?

Well I said I would make it look good after it ran good... It's been running great for 10 years in it's current iteration but I can't see myself spending thousands for a vinyl wrap. Too many toys and this one just keeps accumulating scratches from being in my small garage. It's posted on a Vortec 4200 swap group that I stumbled on recently. There are quite a few people that are enamored with these oddball engines.

For sure! I love it, being different while also performing well! I considered using one in my Sonoma after you started the build. I even had the core out of my old Envoy I could've used as a starting point. But I already have 2 5.3s in the garage waiting for it.
