I did hear that there is like a year wait for an Escalade though.

Yeah I know its got a great big blown V8 but the thing is probably close to 8000lbs

I hope they offer big carbon ceramic brakes as an option

My idea of a V is a car that can handle going to the track whether its the 1/4 or a road course and still offer a great ride on your way to work.

I just think they should have called it something else

It does have much larger brakes... in the world of SUV's, this is pretty dang quick for most. So you're saying a "V" should only be a car? Does the X3M, X4M, X5M and X6M also bother you? Interesting take. What Caddy V's have you owned? I Loved my CTS-V and honestly would buy another one just to keep around.

They're right around 6000lbs+, when I replace my current Escalade this will be on the list depending on what the used market looks like in a few years.

I've driven a few, they are super fun to drive TBH. The exhaust and power is just rowdy.

I was about to pull the trigger on a 2012 CTS-V just before the pandemic.

Unfortunately, I haven`t owned one yet but I spent a day with a friend's car and fell in love with it.

Ok maybe I am wrong and it does deserve to be called a V.

I am glad they are building it don`t get me wrong on that...kind of going out with a bang before the full on E swing.
