    Default Ford Maverick-pros & cons

My son really wants a Ford Maverick. I think mostly because it's affordable & gets good mileage.
We drove one and it had plenty of headroom, and up to 45 MPH is was quiet enough.
He drives about 15-20 minutes to work.
What are the pros & cons of this vehicle?

    My dad loves his (non-Hybrid)
No complaints at all. Easy for my mom and dad to get in/out of.

I have driven it a handful of times. It's nice with some decent pep.

Serves a good purpose in that market share/scope and perfect for my parents.
Not a truck for say but pulls a utility trailer no problem and you can throw shit in the back bed.
We personally hauled a tree with a 3' ball in the back with no problem.

Is it a Full-size half ton or bigger, no but still a pretty versatile little vehicle.

So far we have about 7months and 5k miles in on ours and we love it. When the ordering opens again we plan to get another. The ecoboost has a decent amount of power for the size of the vehicle, mileage has been excellent and more room than the escape that it replaced.

I'm in the market as my Silverado is due back soon, and not really wanting another one. Seems like they are hard to find, like most Ford vehicles these days.

    Pros- Cheap, durable, great MPG

Cons- Wait time to receive the vehicle after ordering

In all seriousness, I saw them in the development phase and was very impressed. If I was in the market for a truck smaller than a 1/2 ton, I would choose this over the Ranger.

I love mine , Hot petter red XLT luxury package 376 days from order to delivery, i get 40 MPG I loose a little MPG because of 20 inch wheels,

great little drive I took delivery in July and have 6 k miles on it.
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

Tell them what the dealership offered you when it finally came in.

I had a 5k over sticker offer for it before i took delivery , can probably still sell it for over what I paid after 6k miles
