Default does anyone listen to AM radio anymore?

    Full Statement from Ford
"We are transitioning from AM radio for most new and updated 2024 models. A majority of U.S. AM stations, as well as a number of countries and automakers globally, are modernizing radio by offering internet streaming through mobile apps, FM, digital and satellite radio options. Ford will continue to offer these alternatives for customers to hear their favorite AM radio music, news and podcasts as we remove amplitude modulation — the definition of AM in this case — from most new and updated models we bring to market."

all i listen too....950 and 760, unless the kids are in the car.

traffic and weather on the 8's comes in handy.

Maybe Ford should concentrate on this fucking stock of mine thats eating a dick sandwich, and not AM radio so much. assholes.

The modulator probably costs thirty cents. What are all the republicant boomers and bible thumpers going to do? Buy a Kia instead?

The retarded ideas that manufacturers implement is astonishing. When GM abandoned pausing radio it astonished me. They should just get rid of the radio altogether, most everyone doesn't want to deal with the bullshit of 10 clicks to do anything required on the jank-ass touchscreens.

They take away the AM radio, then they charge you for the data plan and app that lets you stream AM radio. Honestly, I wish they would cut it out with this stuff. My Silverado lease has a 7" screen but no Nav built in. They will sell me a subscription for nav, but you can't even get it optionally on my truck, and the subscription version is worse than built in and my phone. Someone please tell them that a car is not a cell phone.

I wonder if 760 & 950 would switch to FM? I know some stations broadcast on both.

    Question

Couldn't they just wait till I'm dead?

Then again, maybe I already am?
