Thank you Derbydad! We had a blast on DW2024 Ran some new personal bests and survived the week. Learned a lot and have already started to upgrade things to go faster next year! Lohnes and Frieberger were loving the GP at Indy if you get a min go on YouTube and watch their commentary and how they talk about Granny and their thoughts on us being "A cut above" lol I believe its around the 4:30:00 mark of the day 2 live feed. I got to do Drag Week this year with my dad as my co-pilot and crew guy and some of my closest friends. Cant wait for the next drag and Drive event!thumbnail_20240918_104816.jpgFB_IMG_1727121265194.jpgIMG_20240919_001729.jpgthumbnail_IMG_20240917_201222.jpgthumbnail_IMG_20240919_172209.jpg

Yes I did see the white 69 Mustang I do believe unfortunately they broken on the side of the road and a distracted driver hit them while they were on the shoulder. I believe they were ok but just gutted to have it all unfold like it did

Yep, we got hit. Lost an axle bearing on the way to Indy. My plan was to have the car towed to our hotel in Indy, have the bearings shipped there and fix it and continue on. While waiting on the tow truck, a distracted driver hit the car in front of her sending him sliding backwards into the front of my car. She then ran into my trailer and crushed it. At that point I was done. I planned and prepped for the better part of the year for this trip and never even thought about the axle bearings, just assumed everything in the rear end would be fine because I put stronger pieces in it than I needed(40 spline axles, aluminum thru bolt carrier, billet yoke). Next time I will have an extra set of axle bearings with me. The number of people that stopped and tried to help us was unreal, Drag Weekers are an awesome group of people for sure.

It’s fixable, I’m still waiting on the quote from the appraiser that came out and looked at it. My trailer is totaled, I’m hoping they payout on that too.
