Not yet, at least officially. It ran a 12.2 @ 111 or 112(1.64 60') with the shift points wrong, it bumped the limiter 3 times going into second and twice going into third. But since then I put the 9" in it, which robs a little power. I did some other things that I hope will compensate for that(taller gears, lighter suspension parts, better suspension parts), but when I went last fall I couldn't get a clean launch.

The car is fun, but I've got the buick still on jackstands and I get more enjoyment welding than I do playing with the car. I bought it thinking I'd drive it and work on the buick, but I can't stop spending time and money on it cuz it's so easy to do.
It's my fault for making it look so easy.

I've seen the car run. Runs well. Nice looking too.

I guess I'll bump this thread.

I wasn't planning on pushing it much untill it warms up, but I've had a couple guys ask about it the last couple of weeks. It's asleep for the winter, but I'll uncover it and fire it up if anyone wants to check it out. It won't be on the road until the back alley clears up.

Two issues that I don't think I've mentioned in this thread yet:

1.) It's got a wheel hop issue I haven't figured out yet. Everything suspension- wise is there, I'm guessing someone with some f-body experience will be able to sort it out(I put it all together, but I'm no guru). If you want to take it on I'll be flexable with the price, otherwise I'll get it taken care of when the weather breaks.

2.) The tensioner seems to be squealing. I'm guessing it needs a new tensioner, I can probably take care of that too.

My buddy's mom was asking me if we were going on the Power Tour again this year, and I started thinking "man, I should just keep it." But I shouldn't, so I someone buy it from me

I just changed the 9" fluid(no small feat on this car) and replaced the belt and belt tensioner. I put insurance on it just now and took it for a ride, it's a little wet out so I couldn't really get on it to see if my suspension adjustments helped at all with the hop.

I've been messing with this all week when I should be working on other stuff, if you make me an offer that's in the vicinity of the ballpark right now I'd pry take it. I keep waffling on selling it, but I really should be concentrating on other things. Make me sell it!!!

8,500 for this car right now. The rear end alone would cost you at least 2300 to duplicate.

I need to add the pics again, my stupid website host screwed up my site.

    Yeah, my bad

You know how it is, going back and forth I've got a lot more on my plate now than I did then, and it's pry best if I let it go now.

    I've updated the first post.

    about trades:

I need to upgrade my wife's vehicle. I've been thinking about a '00 and up BMW 3 series or Audi. Preferably it would have less than 80k, would be black white or silver, and an auto. Some type of "classy" 4 dr sedan. I'd be willing to add cash for the right car.

I'm also gonna need another truck soon, but I want a cheap one. 12mpg in my ram is killing me, I'm probably gonna drive her old car but I'll still need a truck occasionally. Something cheap plus cash I'd think about.
