Cool deal Tony. I'll be sure to keep an eye here for updates. NineBall loves the APS TT kit in his GTO. It makes about the same power as his Maggie'd C6 (550hp) but he says it drives much better.

APS has fucked alot of people in the subaru community when they have had problems. ie. wouldn't even sell people custom hoses for their fmic kits if theirs was damaged, wouldn't repair/replace blown i/c cores, etc.

All of their parts are outrageously priced compared to other products. Just look at their turbo's price/performance vs. others.

I would proably still buy some parts from them in the future though.

OK, cranked on it more tonight. First item of tonight was to verify all parts on the BOM were included in the kit. So I layed everything out. Anyone for a giant jigsaw puzzle? I am very happy with the kit so far. The parts are very high quality and will hopefully bolt right up. They packed these things incredibly well for the trip here from Australia. Look at all that shine. I am gonna HAVE to do some engine bay dressing up next season so it all looks better together.

Next I drained all of the fluids (Oil, Coolant). Got the exhaust off, took the coil packs off, and any other items still attached to the front of the car. Next step is the K-Member.....may need to phone some friends for that one!

    Enjoy the pics.

Well I do have this handy chain hoist on an I-Beam across my garage. But I was gonna try to support it from underneath with jackstands as the car is not directly under the I-Beam at the moment. We'll see.

I pick up the valve springs, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gaskets tomorrow and my pushrods should be here soon as well. So I may get that stuff updated before I go too much further.

if your changing springs too I would just pull the whole engine out and change it all on the floor. springs take 10 minutes with the engine lowered and you don't risk dropping a keeper
