Default please keep your spares in the car,and off the freeway

So last night I was driving down 696 in a brand new Cadillac SRX, maybe 3 weeks old, someone must have lost their spare tire right before because it was just sitting there in the lane. I didnt see it til the last minute due to the rain and tried to swerve but unfortunately hit it with the two passenger side wheels. It bloew out both tires, took chunks out of both rims and popped all the side curtain airbags. freaky shit. Its the first time ive ever seen an airbag go off, damn it was fast, now the thing is stuck at rinke gettin new wheels. this type of shit shouldnt be left on the road, just wanted to vent

My sister hit a wheel on a road and totalled her car. It looked fine but she hit in straight on and it went under and bent the frame, took out the trans and the egnine pan, etc. What a waste.

Probably a spare from a pick up or van. The cables rust and then snap. I bet that the person who lost that tire won't even know until they need it.

Its a GM Pep car, I could care less. I'm just pissed I had to wait around on the side of the road for a tow, etc. not to mention having airbags blow off right next to my head

That's what happened to my fathers S10. 99 with 39k on it. He noticed it missing by chance when he got home, retraced his path but never found it.
