Freedom is never free. Unfortunatly every year we loose more and more of these freedoms.

Even so, Thanks to my service I've been all over the world. And I'm proud to say that this is still, By Far, the best country on this little blue marble.
Yeah, choked me up listening to it last night.

And to think that Americans still buy their cars. Yeah, I still hold a grudge.

A date that will live in infamy!

I will say this. All those little bluehairs and old guys that can't see over the steering wheel deserve your utmost respect. They are the last of the GREATEST GENERATION. And it truely is. They fought a major war on two fronts and the women replaced the men in the plants building the airplanes and the tanks necessary to win that war. Most of these people are well into their 80's and 90's. Treat them well fore without them, you'd probably be speaking German.

RIP to all the lives lost. I am listening to FDR's speech right now.

It's a shame that it took so long to get a memorial up for the heroes of WWII.

I like the picture of all the old veterans saluting on the first page. It's nice to see the guys that were there. RIP to all the unfortunate victims of that day.

The father of a guy I work with is a veteran of WWII. He's 87 years old and he always comes up here and has lunch with his son a couple times a week. I like talking to him. He tells some good stories, but even just having normal conversation is cool.
