I've got a '98 Z28, and last spring I put a Moser 9" in the rear. For the most part I've had wheel hop ever since. I'll think I've got it fixed, then it'll come back. I've wasted too much of my time jerking with this thing, it's time for someone with some experience to check it out. I've had it, I need a shop recommendation. Late last summer I took it out to CARS and Sean was helpful, but that's a pretty long haul for me and I don't have the time like I did then.
Everything in the rear suspension is adjustable. I've tried pinion angles from -2 to +2 and everything in between. I've tried putting the LCAS from the low reloc. bracket hole to the higher hole. Per Sean's suggestion I replace the rear progressive rate springs with cut stock springs.
I'm not a big fan of the Spohn T/A that I have, but I hooked awesome with my 10 bolt with the same setup. For some reason the axle seems to move around a lot, to the point where after setting my control arms I'll take it for a ride and the wheels won't be where I had set them when I get back.
I'm in Mount Clemens, something in that general area would be great.
Thanks,
Josh
