Jacob van Artevelde (1290-1345), also known as The Wise Man and the Brewer of Ghent, was a Flemish statesman and political leader. He managed to undo the British wool boycott during the Hundred yrs war.
Ha, that's interesting! The square was really cool, and awfully big. It's called something like 'friday market square,' roughly translated. The Z belongs to some kid I met at Woodward the other day.
