To be honest I don't know anything about it. I just looked it up, and I guess it was built in '88. I turned 4 that year, and I think that was also the year my family moved to Mn. Skimming the Wikipedia page, it sounds like a real pile of crap. Haha.

After $44 million in cost overruns, the $121 million bridge opened to northbound traffic in December 1987; southbound lanes opened in September 1988.
