Default New to K members can someone help?

I'm thinking of going with a "Team Z" K member kit but there are all these options and I'm not sure?

Short A arm - standard A arm, drop mounts - standard mounts and most importantly what spring rate do I want with coil overs???????

    Anyone know Dave's user name?

    Thanks

I'm going to move this to the Chassis Forum. Dave always pops in to answer questions there.

Depends on what you want the car setup for (turning corners or drag racing). If for drag racing you will likely want a 12" 150-175# spring (depends on what your car weighs), I am sure Team Z will point you in the right direction.

What front end do you have Mike?? I think mine rides just like stock, sure I am not going to takes turns at 60mph with the springs I chose, but it does not a sound while driving around on the street.

I'VE got a D&D K, a-arms, and coil overs on Koni's. i know my spring/strut combo isnt exactly working together and which is why i do get some harder hits..

The shorter A arm are for aftermarkett brakes or if you want to tuck your wheels under your car, We do the drop mounts for class racers the have to run motor mounts, I dont recomend them unless your building a custom header, your exhaust will hang to low, if you have any other questions feel free to call or just stop by the shop if your in the area!

I just bought dave's setup for my 88 and it's fuckin' nice as hell! I got the shortened A- arms in case i go aftermarket with brakes down the road.
