Thread: suspension setup,what is needed......

    the vert looks cool with a cage with the top down.
    sounds like his suspension is ok,you may need a 90/10 strut up front and a 50/50 drag shock in the rear.
    relocate the battery to the trunk.
    remove the front sway-bar.the sway-bar wont alow the weight to transfer properly.
    also its hard to get a d.r. to hook on the street with out a good burn out in track bite.

    Get some good axles and a 28 inch tire. I've seen cars with bone stock factory susp hook real good with a 28inch tall tire. One of them runs deep into the 9's.

    I do have the battery already in the trunk and the front sway bar off the car,is there a better tire to run on the street than the old BFG DR?

    i ran a hoosier quick time pro...only suspension i have are south side bars and it hooked pretty good...hoosiers wear out kinda fast though...but they work

    the suspension is fine, just try to put a good tire on it, a good vht burnout and it will hook
