Default Ran my Fusion Hybrid at the Livernois Track Rental for S&G's

Though it totally defeats the reason most buy an Energi (Hybrid), I got curious about what it would run in the 1/4 mile. I was at the track yesterday and figured... Why not run it? It's by far the slowest car I've ever driven at the track, but it was just for fun. I made 5 passes and it's consistent... Consistently slow.. it ran (3) 16.2 @ 86 mph passes and (2) 16.5 @ 86 mph passes.

If it could leave at anything more than idle it would be quicker, but not quick by any means.

After driving it harder than normal, I was still averaging 290 mpg when I got home..

Which engine does the Fusion have? Is it the same 2.0 that's in the Focus ST or is it the 1.6 like the Fiesta ST?

they come with both the 1.6t and 2.0t (fiesta st, focus st)

mine has the 2.0t and I have been using Focus ST parts primarily.

That's pretty sweet, which tuner are you using? I'm torn between Cobb, Mountune, and Livernois. The Mountune kits don't void the factory warranty from what I've read, but Livernois provides the most gains on a stock engine. Too many choices

My 2014 2.0 Titanium had a Livernois tune and ran 14.3, which was .7 better than stock. Being FWD, I couldn't leave hard or it wheel hopped badly. The trans cal was awesome and fuel economy was about 4 mpg better than stock.

That's pretty quick for a Fusion, never would've thought they'd hit 13s. Are there any out there running a bigger turbo?

I could see an AWD car hitting 13's pretty easily.

Yeah, I drove a car Livernois did a turbo upgrade on. It was awesome from a slow roll, but it was FWD so it destroyed the tires and wheel hopped from a dead dig.
