Default Picking Up a New Open Aluminum Trailer

Picking Up a New Open Aluminum Trailer on Thursday. Been looking off and on for an open trailer for a while. I've had enclosed trailers for my race cars, but now all I have is my 64 Chevelle, an open one makes more sense now.

I've been looking at used and new trailers and pricing is all over the map. People want as much for a used one as new ones are. I was thinking on getting a wood deck trailer, but ultimately decided on a steel deck one. A new one delivered here in Mich was between $3,000 and $3,500. Then I started looking at Aluminum ones and most start at around 5K and go to 10K. A friend who owns a towing company mentioned a place about 2 hours from me who makes them. He has 2 of them that they use and said they were pretty good. I am getting a 100% aluminum trailer (no wood deck) with a spare tire delivered for $4,300, which I think is a pretty good price.

My dad has had an enclosed R&R single axle motorcycle trailers and now has a R&R single axle utility trailer. Both trailers are super nice and he hasn't had any issues with either. I may or may not have overloaded the enclosed a time or two and it handled it like a champ.

My Inclosed Snowmobile Trailer was an R&R Gary... It towed great, was very light and did the job well. (That was a few years ago though. Looks nice in the pics.

    Question

For $4,300, does that price include any of the following options?...

    9999# GVWR Axle Upgrade
    Triple Axle
    Aluminum Wheels
    Spare Tire
    Spare Tire Bracket
    A-Frame Toolbox
    Stake Pockets
Extra Width in Front and Behind Fenders
    Extra HD D-rings
    Stabilizer Jacks
    LED Marker Lights
    12V Powered Tongue Jack

    And what size deck?

Looks like a solid choice! I’m struggling with going with another enclosed or go open too.

Includes spare tire with bracket and LED lights. It is a 7,000 pound capacity trailer, which is all I need. It has a 16' x 7' wide deck, which is also all I need. Any part of the trailer behind the cars rear wheels is useless to me. I have had a lot of car trailers and lighter is better for me.

I am glad to hear R&R are decent trailers.........
