Default Livernois Motorsports 2010 Camaro (Auto) LSX 454 Swap

Our 2010 Camaro shop car has been through several different stages of modifications, but for the most recent round of mods we wanted to try something a little different than just bolt on's.

We installed a GM Performance Parts LSX 454 crate engine, but before it went into the car we removed the camshaft and installed our stage 1C "stealth" camshaft.

The plan was to have a car that had stock like drivability with the OEM converter, with little to no change in idle characteristics or sound.

We were going to use stock exhaust manifolds, but they wouldn't fit so we used a set of shorty headers in their place along with a Corsa catback.

It sounds like a stock Camaro with a catback when standing next to it. From the rear there is a small hint of a mild lope, but most people think it's stock.

Here are some install photos and the dyno sheet showing a 100% stock baseline vs. the LSX 454 with our stage 1C camshaft, shorty headers, Corsa catback, and Rotofab CAI.

    Thanks for looking!

    Regards,

    Rick LeBlanc

Not bad for a camaro. Did you put the oem valve covers back on instead of the 454 ones? that makes sense if you're going for the stealth factor, but then why put a 454 lsx sticker on the trunk? lol

Bad ass! I love the car...the black paint in the grill and headlight area is sweet. I think the taillight bezels should be painted black to match the added paint.

I've driven this car a few times and it runs/drives like stock, definately a great upgrade. I'd love to see a big cam/converter swap in this thing to see what it does.

Sleeperz are cool. I'd leave all the stock badges on it.

The LSX heads have additional bolt holes that hit the stock manifolds.

We still have the OEM parts. We typically just get scrap cost for the manifolds, cats, and exhausts for take-off parts.
