Uhm. I've owned a few 2wd 2-seat pickups in Michigan, and I loved them. Easier to drive around town, I can haul things just fine, a proper tire allows you to drive in snow with EASE, less to maintain compared to 4WD......cheaper, more fuel efficient...looks good... Don't have to worry about people asking for rides because you can only seat 2....
I can ask the same thing about the practicality of a FWD V8... Different strokes for different folks. If we we're all looking for "practicality" we'd be driving diesel 4-seater hatchbacks, Chevy Metro's, and hybrids.... but surely an eyetalian cannot be seen in such a vehicle.
