It opened in 1948 and closed in 1984.

i went to drive in last summer to see hangover.... horrible experience. between the mosquitoes, the weed smoke and the people cooking, i wont do it again.

Did you go to the Ford/Wyoming drive-in? That's the only one that comes to mind.

I remember going there to see War Games and psyco, swingin on the swings till the sun was almost down then going to the snack bar to get some goodies. Got in the back of the truck in our blankets and watchin the movies was great times..

I don't remember that one but I do remember the Bel Air at 8 mile & van dyke.
