    Default How important is........

Ok. I will have a 10pt moly cage with through the floor subs installed shortly. My question is how important are the 2 bars that come through your firewall to your core support? That and how important is a mid mount and front mount motor plate? Im suppose to be getting these done, but i dont think i want bars through the firewall and i also dont think i need a motor plate. 2nd gen camaro with sbc about 550ish hp shooting 200hp at it. Car will also be coil over ladder bar suspension. Thanks.

What about using a front mount and mid mount motor plate instead of using side mounts? Oh, and thanks!

I was told that those front bars could actually hinder the car's performance. Something about the rigidity of the chassis. I don't know the full explanation, but that's what I heard.

I havent found a way to mount a front mount plate on my car using the frame. At least not one that i like anyways. I will continue to research it this year before making any decisions one way or the other. I am still very new to stuff like this.
