you know how to check the b.s.? flip rim front down take a straight edge across back side of rim and measure up from back side of rim were it is mounted to axle. were they intersect is the number b.s.
i just got the wheels from mccormick racing they are 5.5 back spacing and my lowers are tubular non adjustable and they are tighter on the passenger side than the driver side
the driver side fits better than the passenger side.
and i did say these are slicks not et streets this 27x10 put up next to my old 28x9 looks 2 to 3 inches wider not just 1 inch.my old slicks are Mickey thompsons these are hoosiers there is a Big difference in the look
if the tire wasnt on the wheel it fits fine the slick is whats rubbing
You have a centering issue which is adjusted by the upper controll arms. I faught this once i swtched to teh 10" rim. If you have a factory width fox axle in teh car you should be fine with some beating, once the axle is centered in the car. We have a GT with a 10" rim and 28 10 hoosier slick and t clears afer the hammer time fun. My coupe has 27 X 11.50 QTP tires and i have no issues. is this thing lowered to the weeds? Get some pics up.
thats what im gonna do first
