not to nitpick, but the equipment was attached to the Chevy's Door, whereas on the Ford it was attached to the Cab and the truck bed.

can't compare an ifs truck to a solid axle truck on an angled ramp like that anyways

chevy = 3/4 ton truck with 1/2 ton suspension

Not going to knock the test, but it's the same thing Ford does. They play to the weakness of the competition

Exactly it'd be nice to see them post all of the results from all of their tests and then the consumer can choose to make whatever compromises they want based on how they are going to use the truck. I don't see myself ever driving up a twisted road like that so that's probably not something I'd care about seeing. The acceleration is interesting but honestly when people buy trucks, they are really buying durability, reliability, and serviceability and you never see any of those things really tested head-to-head. You don't know who actually won until years later when you see how much truck A is selling for on the used market versus truck B.

I noticed that also, you can tell they did it on purpose too because how far back they mounted it to the bed.

Another note being, you'll never see a ligitament test done when its being paid for by one of the competitors. I find that acceleration test a crock of shit.

Edit-also noticed that the dodge didn't compete in the angled ramp test???
