Default 1967 Mustang... with some updates

A very good customer of ours brought his 1967 Mustang and said it needed some updates.

Originally, he wanted to install a 5.4L GT500 engine, but the car is a pretty clean so he didn't want to get too crazy and cut it up.

He decided he wanted similar looks to a previous build we did for him seen here

For the 67, we decided to build a 302 with ported heads and intake, a mild camshaft a TCI C4 transmission and a 4.10 Ring & Pinion. We also fabricated a custom exhaust system with longtube headers, custom mid-pipe, and Magnaflow mufflers.

To get the look of the GT1000R, we installed a strut type rack and pinion front suspension with coil overs, Super Snake 20" wheels and OEM GT500 brakes.

We installed a Be-Cool cooling system and re-installed the factory air that was removed by a previous owner.

    Here a few photos

    Thanks!

Wheels are a bit big and he agrees. He wants to find an exact replica of that wheel in 18". I suggestedGT500 KR wheels, but he said they need to look exactly the same, justsmaller.

It came out good. I agree the wheels are too big. It looks like one of those DUB Edition die cast models that you find at Meijer/Target.
