While I think its good that we can legally open carry; I do not believe that open carry is very smart. If someone sees you have a gun on your hip, guess who they're going after first.

Am I the only gun nut that thinks this is a bad idea? Some of these people in the classes I see at the range definitely need more training that the class even offers imo.

While I understand the constitutional aspect of it... I also think there are plenty of idiots out there who will end up carrying and act completely irresponsible

It is a difficult question and I see both sides of the debate. I don't like the idea of the government regulating something that is a right guaranteed to me in the constitution... but I also don't want people carrying who don't understand the responsibility that comes with it and handles it appropriately
