New toy I picked up. It's a Smith & Wesson Model 19. I looked up the serial number and its a 1985. The gun was MINT when I got it but knicked the finish on the tip of the barrel. I bought it used (obviously) and you couldn't even tell it was shot. The original box is mint too. Leads me to think that whoever owned it just let it sit in a box for 20 years without even touching it.

I'm defiantly a fan of revolvers over semi-autos. I found some really nice gel grips for it but this one has to stay wood. I'd look for a SS unit for a carry piece though. Technically, that makes it a model 66 but its the exact same gun except for being stainless steel.
