I was on Belle Isle for an autoX at this time.
Was the F/A 18 super sonic past down town? He sure was over the island, every car alarm went off...LOL

It came from the bridge to the Start/finish line in no time flat - it was badass.
The announcer said something about if he took it past Mach1 or something like that it would blow out all the glass on the riverfront

It was heading upriver between Belle Isle and Canada. It was a very distinct loud double boom that was felt, he definitly let one slip.

When the F/A 18 was in formation with the WW2 Navy Coursair(sp?) it looked to be going painfully slow.
