    Thanks Sean, where can I buy some Prussian Blue marking compound? I never heard of the stuff.

    I agree, usually .030 gets you pretty close with a Ford gear. I messed with a used gear once before and had the same issues. I finally gave up and ran it. IIRC it made some noise but I lived with it.

    If this is your personal car you beat on and you already have it all apart. why not just spend the cash and do it right. That would be the only way to have confidence that its all done correctly esp. seeing how your leaving on a brake and the hose.
