Another "Bike upgrade" thread

So Ive been riding my 2005 Rockhopper pretty much bone stock through the trails for quite some time now, Ive really outgrown a few things it had. Such as V-brakes and stock hubs/ wheels. I upgraded to Avid BB7 discs and mavic wheels and hubs. Its amazing how different the bike feels and responds. The braking is amazing and the responsivenes through turns with the new wheels is great.

yep, its the only zip-tie I had (green) so it will have to work for now. I also put my strapped pedals back on since I do a lot of city riding now, the clips were just too scary in the city. On the bright side, the dirt trails here are amazing compared to a lot in MI. There are 20+ mile tracks within riding distance from the downtown/ my house, its so nice!
