    if you run moly you have to tig weld it. at least on a roll cage you need ot so i would assume to get it certified you will have to tig it. good luck post pics.

    I am going to TIG weld everything including the cage. I appreciate the advice, I am a couple weeks off for starting but if I run into problems I will post up.

    Without fish plates all those butt welded joints are susceptiable to cracking and breakage.

    I was going to ask about that, my buddy suggested plating over the welds. I still have to go purchase all the steel, moly and welding rods so I am just going to go ahead and purchase more flat stock and add it for safety sake. I don't want this thing coming apart on my first 12 second pass, Lol.
