We probably won't have too many posts coming up because we won't be able to come back to check on threads, answer questions, and keep everything updated due to our schedule the next few weeks.
The last week has been havoc for us - everything from working for a repeat client to give their car a quick 2-step polish, to engine bay/interior detailing of an ultra rare Skyline, to a complete wet-sand & polishing of a Grand National.
Here are some highlights from this week alone:
Finished this '87 Grand National Last evening after we put in just shy of 10 hours into it. The paint wasn't very good: most of the car had been resprayed and there was a lot of orange peel, swirls, scratches, solvent pop marks, dust specs, etc. We sanded everything minus parts that were still the original black single-stage enamel to reduce the peel effect and restore clarity to the finish. Owner payed about 1/10th the price of a proper paint job.
Oxidized and dull single-stage paint on the roof 50/50:
50/50 of the hood:
Swirls, scratches, and orange peel: everything needed to give your car lack of clarity, depth, and gloss
After sanding, compounding, polishing, and refining (but before final wax):
Teaser of how it came out:
'72 Olds 442. Needed a lot of work, and we did all we could to the exterior with the budget we had. That included some of the following:
Work on the paint:
Cleaning the some what newer white top:
Lots of nook & cranny cleaning like key holes:
Around door handles:
And scrubbing the tires to get the white lettering back to being white:
Teaser after 7+ hours of labor:
Brand new 2010 Camaro with 112 miles on it. Straight from the dealership to us for a new-car prep. New car? Ha.

Very very very well kept car than only needed our touch on those often over-looked areas.
Pedals, buttons, carpets, etc, etc.

There are a few others, but not all our photos are uploaded yet.
