In all seriouness why?
I get a lot of crap for not working on it enough. Which is true. There's been progress since the last time I updated this but there's still a good bit of sheet metal work needing done.

Actually, quite a bit has been done since this point. Vintage Air stuff all run, oil cooler and filter relocation, the trans tunnel is mostly done now. Didn't have a driveshaft then that is in the car now. Made a mount on the back for a Mustang pop off gas cap to fill the fuel cell remotely. Tunnel still needs finished, some floor messaging around the seats, panels to close off the strut towers need welded in still, pedals, brake lines, misc stuff beyond that.

I've always liked this car since you got it, and the direction you're going with it.
Just curious, any room for a turbo or two?
Mike
Brad - We have quite a few Coyote engines from the Essex plant at our shop right now. We get them fully built up and then we take them down to the build level required for station run-off. I keep trying to figure out a way to 'borrow' one.
You and I need to have a race to see who gets their car finished first. I am just about ready to swap frames on my Chevelle now. All I need to do is to run the brake and fuel lines and have a fuel tank made. Then it needs to go off to powdercoat.

I think part of my lack of motivation on this thing is not having the money to actually make it fast. A coyote would be a big step up from the old 4.6. I should sell the wagon and spend all the money on the Torino.

Rip the 4v out and throw a junkyard 5.3 ls in it with a turbo. Way cheaper in the long run

I feel the same way. It is kind of ricery and not very hot rod philosophy following but a 4V motor, especially pre coil on plug, just looks cool.
