Ok, so she is all apart.... and ready for storage...
went to do plugs and #2 (first on passenger side) came out with all its threads.... so off cam the head and I put in a timesert. since I went that far I also did a needle bearing to bronze bushing trunnion kit and swapped out the yellow valve springs for some 1218 Pac springs... gm performance head gaskets with ARP bolts... putting Evans coolant back in instead of Dexcool and added a Earls' steam tube kit.... She is still all stock but now I have peace of mind with the valve train...
