Most anything that is properly maintained will last a very long time. Used to have an 89 GMC Suburban. put over 300k on the 350 before the body rusted away. Motor is now in a Tahoe, still running. Not sure how many miles it has now.
I like pie.
If this Explorer makes it to 300k; Id be happy. Now if I could do something about the 11mpg in the city; damn full time awd. I should have done the manual t-case swap years ago.
As much as Id like a newer car, its nice having no car payment. Id like to keep it that way for some time and continue saving. Maybe a Trackhawk would be obtainable in 3-4 years. That or a 2018+ F150 5.0 with a Whipple.

pedro 353k still driving it
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."
My old Iroc had 195k on it when I sold it.
1999 Z28. A4. Magnaflow catback and a lid. 60k miles.
1979 Buick Century Station wagon. It had 305,000 on the clock when I sold it. Bought it from my auto shop teacher in high school, it was meticulous maintained, until I bought it.
