. . . to reinstall as many parts as possible that were removed during 2003 - 2011. I installed the gas tank and transmission last night. Gotta call the shop next week to see if the shortblock is done, if so, then cue the happy dance.
New tires, rotors, pads, brey krauss harness bar and belts, fix my backup cam, replace my pia1100x bulbs with LED lights.
[QUOTE=4Gas$;2879875]Ok, I tried to figure out what Route 66 from the
Navy pier Ferris wheel to Santa Monica Ferris wheel
drive would look like, I don't think I got it right.
What would your cruise map look like?

No it's not even close. 🤣 Really once you get to Texas, that's where it finally becomes what most people think of when you hear Route 66. There's a lot of you tube's on what to see and do, but I actually bought a old school road map off eBay for like $5 that shows the exact historic Route 66 route. At a certain point (I think the half way mark In Texas) that the road is actually marked every so often with Route 66 painted right on it so you know where you're at and if you're still on it. Plan for a full 2 week trip there and back. Most of the trip will be getting to Santa Monica, and then hall ass back across the United States. Of course, you have to enjoy just driving around to actually enjoy a trip like this, if you don't, it would be boring I'm sure. I'm gonna do it in my foxbody.
Thanks, that is more like I thought it would be.
Sounds like a great road-trip. It could be fun
by yourself or with a few others in a "mini-tour".
