Default Getting out of Ford Lease?

How does that work and what costs are associated?

Thanks - Never done this obviously.

Somebody will make out on my 2022 F150
    - Super crew
    - 6.5' Bed - W/ spray in Bedliner - Tailgate step, bed lights, etc..
    - 5.0 Max Tow Pkg.
    - Antimatter Blue (Sport)
    - 20" wheels
    - Big Screen, B&O Sound pkg, etc...

It is a 2 year lease and I have had it 1 year this month.
Currently 11k miles on the clock and it is a 12k PER YEAR LEASE. (so I am 1k under milage for the year)

I only pay $375 a Month on it. I am sure someone would jump on this.

ETA - Sorry you looking to sell or transfer the lease?

Done it with GM - Usually its a ~$600 transfer fee and they have to apply thru Ford credit like if they were leasing it themselves.

With GM you have to have the vehicle 6 months before you can legally transfer it. Not sure about Ford, but you should be ok there.

With how crappy leases are now, I can't imagine you will have any trouble finding a taker. Not sure on the process though.

just walk into a Ford dealer and ask them if they want to buy it. get out of the vehicle and the fees associated.

That is very tempting. Do you have any pics of the truck? I have never leased a vehicle so Im not super familar with the process, do you know what the price would be to buy it after the lease is over?

I honestly do not know what the buyout value is at end, but If I recall it was pretty high hence the low Lease mos. payment.

The buy price should be written in the lease contract. It is agreed upon up front.
