We did mine in my garage and I am no fabricator either. I bought my material from Van Huron Steel in Belleville and it cost around $75 for the material and took about three days at a few hours a piece to complete.

I have through the floor sub frames on my LX, along with jacking rails. They were done in CA, so I don't know what you could expect to pay for them here in MI... I assume more than $1K.
Talk to Greentrunk about them....Believe he just put them in his car
Lmao, dude you can figure it out I'm sure, go buy the material, there are a couple of holes in the floor you can stick your finger in and feel the frame, its exactly 2" wide, use a cut off wheel and cut the floor on the inner edge of the frame towards the front, then you gotta make room where the seat humps are, lay your steel down and have someone weld, then cut 2 pieces on a 45 for the backs and 2 straight for the front and weld in, your done.....

Do you have the entire interior out? If so $500 is a good price, you’ll spend ½ that in material.
Cost me around 50 bucks to do mine and thas only cuz i had to fill the damn bottle on the welder thanks to the lil bro leaving it on...
I'm insanly busy right now but if you want them done in a few weeks I'd do them for ya..
I think where most of you have your problems with all of this, is the fact that you really don't fully understand the internal workings and dynamics of the common combustion engine. There is no magic tune up, and motors are stupid. The only time a motor will complain is when something is wrong.
Hmmmmm I want some
