    Find the guys that stole it and kill them. If the cops ask, tell them they didn't have any id, so you know they can't really do anything about it.

    Hell id contact everybody you can on this. Michigan attorney general. Fox 2 problem solvers...etc etc. Complete BS that somebody can get away with this

    If the car sold and it crosses state lines, the OP can probably involve many more departments.

    I mean, this thread alone was started way prior to the CL or eBay ads with pictures of the car at the OPs storage/garage location. If the OP has a bill of sale that should be enough to prove that it was his property.

    Comparing the pics I have from the auction to his ebay pics. It looks like they cleaned up the vin plate. But it also looks fresh stamped. Ill post when I get home

    from what i could read of that plate, it looks like "C55?212" Might be "C551212"
